Trello is one of my go to tools for task tracking. Its one of the best free tools that has a user friendly interface. One of the reasons I recommend this tool is how intuitively you can get started and making work flows for ideas, tasks, or anything else your team or company needs to do. For new time users an example flow could be Ideas -> Things to Do -> Doing -> Done. Most boards I make have those core sections to keep track of. Keep items on the list actionable and quick. I find the easier and more clearly defined items help progress the most.

I would recommend this tool to anyone currently working in a small team. Trello is also very helpful for focusing on which tasks are the most important, so I would recommend this for anyone currently with multiple ideas or paths forward but don’t know where to go next. Lay out all the options then once you can see them all its easier to weigh each option against each other.
